Another fantastic result for one of my clients today! I had a client come to me months ago, a real sweet kid who did something dumb. She was embarrassed but took ownership of it and needed my help to keep this one-time mistake from haunting her for the rest of her life. The problem was that this was a felony theft. And worse: an employee theft. Prosecutors usually go after cases where an employee steals from their job. And a felony – it’s almost impossible to get what Dallas calls a “memo agreement” (or what other counties call a pretrial diversion) for a felony theft.

Almost impossible, but not impossible, because I that’s just what I got for this client. She finished all her requirements early and I got her case dismissed today. Next stop: getting this mark removed from her record by getting her arrest, charge, and case expunged from her record.
