Our client was beaten up by her husband and defended herself with a kitchen knife to escape. The police wrongfully arrested and charged her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (they arrested her on Christmas Eve, no less).
We bonded her out and convinced the District Attorney’s office to reject the case completely, meaning no criminal case was filed (leaving her eligible for a full expunction of her record).
