Yet another example of Dallas County screwing up something that should be a no-brainer. The system we use to manage criminal cases is god awful. It looses people, paperwork gets mislabeled, and paperwork gets misfiled under the wrong defendant’s case. It’s a hot mess. To fix it, the county poured money into a now-bankrupt company. The project was left unfinished and so far, it looks to be a new awful program that won’t address the system’s needs. So what does our county commissioners’ court vote to do? Why, pour more money into it, of course!
