Mike Howard was born and raised in Dallas. After going to Texas Tech for undergrad and SMU Dedman School of Law, Mike
began his legal career fighting for the little guy at Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas. Realizing that his true calling was criminal defense, he left Legal Aid to work at the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office. After several years as a Public Defender, Mike left to open his own practice when he could no longer ignore that the crushing caseloads expected of a Public Defender didn’t allow him to represent people the way they deserved.
The Law Office of Mike Howard was founded on the core principle of treating clients as real people, not files. Mike is known for his compassion, dedication, and thorough approach to every case. Mike believes that no one should be judged based on their worst day.
