While hearing his verdict, Edward Leclair drank cloudy water from a bottle, and died hours later in the hospital. In these different articles, Howard shares that he saw Leclair drink from the bottle several times over the course of the deliberation, and chug it once the judge started reading the verdict. Howard saw Leclair being taken to the hospital, and told the media that he did not look well. He talks about what could happen with the case as a result of Leclair’s actions.
